Joao is a dedicated and experience Safety Coordinator with over 17 years of expertise in the management, coordination and supervision of everything related to industrial safety in different economic sectors such as hydrocarbons, manufacturing, insurance and precast. He has led work teams with responsibility and under the fulfillment of objectives. For him industrial safety is not just a profession, it is a philosophy of life.  Joao’s primary responsibilities and tasks are analysis of OSHA findings and recommendations, monitoring compliance with pre-operational vehicles and machinery, programming activities that comply with OSHA and current legislation regarding industrial safety and occupational health, chair weekly and industrial safety meetings, supervision of activities in the different work sites, analysis of statistical trends in accidents during the year, identification of hazards, risk analysis and implementation of controls for the prevention of work-related accidents and diseases, proposing campaigns and standards for the improvement of risk management and prevention of accidents and occupational diseases.
